The Zhentarim Youth
Originally formed by the Zhentarim, a criminal
conspiracy/mercantile guild in Faerun, the Zhentarim Youth was meant to be a
training grounds to turn young fanatics into skilled soldiers, until Manshoon
Jr. took over. Manny splinted the Youth off from the main body of the Black
Network, and turned it into his own ruthless criminal organization determined to
rule Faerun.
The Zhent Youth has had only minor successes, and most
of its big efforts have been foiled by Korwan Truesteel, and either his
Faerunian allies, or friends from Sigil Prep. They operate under a cover
organization, the spice-trading firm called "Expensive Inter-Spices", but
everyone knows it's a cover now, so, y'know...
Zhent Youth foot soldiers are often local tribal
humanoids, hired en masse. These are often gnolls, officers tending to be
flinds.
Membership:
Manshoon Jr.: Leader.
Major Natasha Bodd (human Fighter-12): Manshoon Jr's bodyguard, a strong, eye-patched warrior woman, and possibly the only sensible person in the organization.
Corrandor (locathah Fighter-9): Murky water-dwelling leader of Manny Jr's "navy" (a bunch of locathah he hired).
Dracon (Boris Dracon IX; human Fighter-3/Arificer-7): Manshoon Jr's bodyguard, face covered in a steel mask which the elder Manshoon sealed onto his head as punishment. Killed by Korwan, and presently unresurrected.
Entreri Jr. (human Rogue-10): A spy and saboteur for Manny Jr. Although he claims to be a clone/son of Artemis Entreri, he's just a fanboy.
Ironaxe (Half-Orc Artificer-10): Weapon-making half-orc who spent too much on Str for an Artificer.
Princess Jazz (human Aristocrat-10): A snobbish princess from Legacy-Arcana, niece of the Muffin Man. She is the only person with access to the only active portal in and out of the wartorn plane, and has thrown in with Manshoon Jr. since coming to Sigil. She has a pet tiger named Wojo. (She controls the only supply line out of her war-torn homeplane.)
Wojo (tiger): Pet tiger of Princess Jazz. It isn't precisely a situation he's happy with.
Psi-Ninja (githyanki psychic warrior-9): Githyanki who pretends his psionic powers are ninja skills, and who goes by his weird-assed codename because he believes his name is unpronounceable to humans. (It's Jerry).
Will Dessel (human Fighter-7/Dragonrider-5): Aerial operations leader. Will rides a Black Dragon named Diamondback.
Xenna and Annex (human Rogues-12): Creepy twin sisters who speak in alternating sentences, and do stuff in unison. Manny Jr's secretaries.
Swamp Sweat Tribe
The Zhentarim Youth sometimes employ a mercenary tribe of orcs, lead by a doppelganger who impersonates a teenage clone of Fzoul Chembryl for no really good reason.
Fzoul Jr. (doppelganger): A doppelganger who impersonates a teenage clone of Fzoul Chembryl for no really good reason.
Burn, Chop, and Slice (orc Barbarians-8): Three named members of the tribe.
Chem and Bryl (doppelgangers): Fzoul Jr's brother and sister, who pretend to be Fzoul Chembryl's teen brother and sister for no really good reason.
