The rorriM Universe
In the back alleys of Sigil East, if you look for it, there's a vacant store front, with a sign on it that says "Mirror". If you go inside, you find a run down bar that looks perfectly symmetrical, including having two store fronts, one the mirror image of the other. If you go out the other side, you find yourself in an identical back alley, but all the signs are written backwards.
You are now in the rorriM Universe (more properly the rorriM Cosmology, but that doesn't flow very well). Here, the whole entirely of everything you know is copied and reversed. Odo's is run-down and not very popular, and the unnamed orc is named ("Hank" for the record), Jayla's is a bright, yuppie establishment run by an unfriendly, but totally above board woman, and the Mall of the Halflings is a small little shopping complex with only a handful of stores, none of which have what you really want.
In the heart of all this is the Sigil Preparatory University, a smoking crater run by a vicious beholder. There is no faculty. They don't care. Students are sent here from all over the cosmology, for no really good reason, because they have a lifespan of weeks once they get here. Anyway, folks from our proper universe have been here a couple of times. Here's some people they've met.
Notable Inhabitants (links to their "normal" counterparts)
Akbar: Hostile, violent warrior who seldom speaks. It may be presumed muffins have a calming influence on him.
Amizath: A meek soul with no sense of self, who tends to stay in her changeling shape, never changing.
Anastacia d'Deneith: Helpless victim of her evil sister.
Becky: Head cheerleader/slave master
Biklik: A brave hero, in the service of S'kkip.
Black Lotus: An evil Anissa d'Deneith, endlessly torturing her hated sister Anastacia as she terrorizes Sigil East.
Blue: A vicious, calcutlating, terrible little hamster
Burvik: Well-dressed, respectable bugbear, and secretary to Biklik
Creig: A member of S'kkip's resistance army. Um, he doesn't like mischief, I guess.
Daveon: A powerful blackguard in the service of the Dark Six, with no sense of justice or compassion
Dora: The rorriM Dora is a member of S'kkip's resistance army.
Gleam: Very similar to the "real" Gleam, except he bugs Xizlqk instead of Akbar.
Iltinger: The rorriM Iltinger seems to come and go without any bizarre things happening to him.
Jaro Bytheway (Halfling Aristocrat-8): Jaro of the rorriM Universe is the richest halfling in kwahyarG. He decided that in his universe, Evil seemed too likely to prevail over Good, while in the other (mainstream) universe, it was the other way around. So he came up with a plan to merge the two into a vast bastion of Neutrality. He was defeated by his non-rorriM counterpart, along with Penembre Erasilmus, Cariel Then, and others
Kailey: A member of S'kkip's freedom fighters.
Kara: Evil red dragon, who ate Niazan, several times. Pet of Tinya
Kazerobet: Perky, bright young girl with a fondness for limericks and poorly rhymed couplets. S'kkip's secretary
Kel: In the rorriM Universe, Kel dresses in green tights, and is deliriously happy. He flits around S'kkip's head, and offers cheerful optimism. Real Kel would hate him.
Korwan: A monstrous beast of a warrior, with no compassion or restraint. He has a dominating romantic relationship with Pembe.
Kree: The rorriM Kree is a member of S'kkip's resistance.
Lidda: Quiet young halfling who'd rather just be left alone
Maddie Weber: terrified, bottom-of-the-totem-pole cheerleader, secretly working for S'kkip's resistance
Manshoon Jr.: The rorriM Manny Jr. is a member of S'kkip's resistance army.
Moralulani: A movanic deva who wishes to trade places with the real Moralulani, and be done with rorriM forever.
Naull: Masochist whose greatest desire is to be tortured by Lidda.
Neil: In the rorriM Universe, Neil is a tyrannical (actual) beholder, who has conquered most of the Sigil Prep campus, and commands the legions of the evil students. He’s every bit the BBEG Neil thinks he is, though the real Neil would never stomach this. He might actually faint.
Niazan: The rorriM Niazan has been eaten, apparently more than once, by Kara.
Nicia: Becky's cruel, snarky roommate and fellow cheerleader
Penembre: Tortured lover of Korwan, who harbors a secret crush of the heroic Biklik.
Rahariel: The rorriM Rahariel was a studious, naive young lady.
Rei: A cruel and capable villainous.
Rory: Young wemic street punk who rolls people for their newspapers.
Roxanne d'Cannith: A meek, terrified young girl.
S'kkip: Heroic champion of rorriM Sigil Prep, and leader of the fight against the beholder, Neil
Teal: Squirrel, and arch-nemesis of Blue
Tinya: Hot, but cruel, sexy but vicious balor. This Tinya was a real erinyes (before her balor promotion), lethal and violent. She is loyal to the tyrant Neil, and was once engaged to Biklik, for whom she still harbors feelings.
Vander: A stoner with no sense of urgency
Vicola: Joybringer lieutenant of S'kkip
Xizlqk: A snarky mind flayer with no moral compass. It's uncertain how he's opposite of the real Xizlqk.
