Gibberlings
Everyone in the Heartlands and Underdark of Faerun know that Gibberlings are vicious little creatures with insatiable appetites. So when Maddie Weber wanted to torment a crazy wizard she had tossed in a crawlspace under Regdar's house, she tossed some gibberlings after him. Eventually, these gibberlings formed a very, very slightly more advanced society than gibberlings normally have, assigning themselves arbitrary names such as Smart Gibber, Lucky Gibber, Strong Gibber, Skeptical Gibber, and Hungry Gibber, none of which applied more to one than the other. Elder Gibber was their leader, who was, in fact, actually older than the rest. Elder Gibber led them on many surface raids to steal Regdar and Krusk's crap, so they could worship it. On the last such quest, when they stole a large beer keg, they were tracked down by the PC's, and briefly led into Regdar's house, where they attempted to eat Maddie Weber under the very charismatic advice of Zenra. Meanwhile, Hungry Gibber was separated from the group by Deiter, and killed. However, their group mentality let them know that duplicity was afoot, and they swarmed back to the basement and made a pretty fair attempt to eat Deiter before Mora and Roxy, and senior quarterback Regdar, came to his aid. Elder Gibber and many of his followers were killed.
Eventually, for no apparent reason, the gibberlings moved out of Regdar's basement, and into the walls of Azer Dorm, where they occasionally pop out to try and eat someone. They generally fail. They aren't too smart. They have mistaken Araignee for a giant gibberling, and their new deity.
Named Gibbers
Elder Gibber (Gibberling, no class levels): The leader of the Gibberlings, killed by Regdar and a bunch of freshman PCs.
Foolhardy Gibber (see Poison Checker Gibber)
Headless Gibber (gibberling): Poorly named until Rook took his head off.
High Proselytizing Gibber (gibberling): High Priest of the gibberlings, who has declared Araignee the "Great High Gibber".
Hungry Gibber (gibberling): One of the gibberlings living under Regdar's house, murdered by Deiter.
Lucky Gibber (gibberling): The last gibberling killed when the gibberlings living under Regdar's house were killed. Lucky, wasn't he?
New New Smart Gibber (gibberling): Replacement of New Smart Gibber, and their current leader. Or possibly not (see "Newer Smarter Gibber")
New Smart Gibber (gibberling): One of the gibberlings who live under Regdar's house, and their new leader. New smart gibber led the exodus to Azer Dorm, their new home. He was later killed.
Newer Smarter Gibber (gibberling): Has shown up as leader of the Azer Dorm Gibberlings, despite the fact that, as far as we know, New New Smart Gibber is still alive.
Poison Checker Gibber (gibberling): One of the gibberlings who live under Regdar's house. He used to be Foolhardy Gibber until New Smart Gibber needed him to check for poison.
Skeptical Gibber (gibberling): One of the gibberlings living under Regdar's house. Deceased.
Smart Gibber (gibberling): The gibberling that the gibberlings living under Regdar's house looked to for advice, until he was killed.
Strong Gibber (gibberling): Allegedly the strongest of the gibberlings living under Regdar's house, although the strength difference was negligible. Deceased
Trapfinding Gibber (gibberling): One of the gibberlings living under Regdar's house. It's unclear if he was one of the ones killed during Regdar's party.
